What Is your favorite Fashion Era ?

Fashion has definitely changed over the years.  The one thing that should always remain the same is your personal style.  But I’m curious! What did you wear to studio 54 in the 70’s?  Were you Raising Hell with your Adidas.and Kangol hat in the 80’s or were you wearing you clothes backward and All about your Friends?

What is your favorite fashion Era?

70's - bell bottom pants,
jumpsuit, tie-dyed shirts, long straight hair, lots of beads, vests, boots

80's - MC Hammer pants, platform shoes, big hair, big sunglasses, bright colors
90’s - baby doll dresses with puffed sleeves and thigh-high stockings, baggy jeans and overalls.

The 90’s was the grunge look and all about hip hop.  You’re doing it big with the Cross Color pants matched the color of the Now and Laters in your pocket.

The 80’s trends were wild, crazy with multicolored hair and clothing.  This was the era people looked for ways to express their creativity and individuality

What about the 70’s? That is my favorite decade.  I remember disco (Saturday Night Fever) I see mini-dresses or skirts with spangled or sequined fabric and platform patent-leather shoes to match...I see BIG hooped earrings and lots of rhinestones.  It was all about the night-life and freedom.

I love to boogie!  Next year’s fashion show is inspired by the 70’s.  Checkout our fashions show promotional video. .Tickets are now on sale at brown Paper Tickets.  I will post more information soon
Before I go, here is my fashion tip for today.  Beauty & Fashions fade, style is eternal

  1. My favorite fashion era was the 50's & 60's!!! Although I was not born yet when I look at old movies everything back then was so glamourous! From fur coats to pearls.....from pin curls to red lipstick! Yes that was a classy fashion era!

I agree 50's and 60's was a glamorous era. The 70's was the freedom and fun era. Do you have a favorite outfit from the 70's?

    Thanks for posting!
